HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINE CORPS!

WORKOUT:

Row 500m as fast as you can 3 times. Rest inbetween rounds as needed.

The CrossFit North’s Standards for this are:

Beginner – speed 500 meter row: women 2:20 / men 1:55

Intermediate – 500 meter row: women 2:00 / men 1:45

Advanced – 500 meter row: women 1:50 / men 1:32

Elite – 500 meter row: women 1:40 / men 1:25

    Rnd 1 – 1:44 (warm up)
    Rnd 2 – had a 1:29 pace but I fell off, I need a seatbelt.
    Rnd 3 – 1:31.9 – ‘Advanced’ by CrossFit North’s Standards. . . sweet.

    Rnd 4 – was with the trash can. I haven’t met with Pukie in a while. He says to tell everyone ‘hello’, and that he will see you soon.

    JJ commented that the rower looks like some sort of torture device. It is. I continue to be amazed at the physical demands required by a 500m sprint.

    Rnd 1 – 1:40sh (forgot to check)
    Rnd 2 – 1:30 (i think)
    Rnd 3 – TKO…(i couldn’t rally)

    Pace falls hard after 400m… have to dig deep. Lots of nauseau afterward.

    Craig’s times were actually:

    Rnd 1 – 1:38
    Rnd 2 – 1:29.9

    I just have to say that 1:25 is a lot farther from 1:32 than it looks.
