9 of us went at it this morning – which is a blast when we’re all going full out. John nailed it, but scaled slightly on KBs to accomodate his knee rehab. Josh set his sites on the DCF record of 9:20 and knocked it off the board (damn!).

    Jon 8:56! (1p KB)
    Josh 9:08 as rx’d!
    Rick 9:20 (p.r.!)
    Burton 9:40 (1p)
    Charmaine 9:47 (band p/u + .75p KB)
    Sarah 12:40 (workout for two..amazing)
    Jimmy: pukie on last 400..(16:50)
    Kellie: 11:35 ( – 1 set of band p/ups)
    Craig: 10:07 (slow runner today)

Very interesting article (especially since I am an engineer and an athlete).

This is also particularly interesting due to this article regarding a major steroid drug ring bust:

Yikes – thats huge. As a natural strength proponent, I’d really like to see the truth come out.

Judging from performance numbers I used to see in amateur triathlons & road races, I’ve suspected that drug use is very common among amateurs.

I think its very sad to know that the honest, hardworking athletes are toiling away in futile obscurity because juice heads are getting the glory.

One of these days I want to be accused of juicing. So I can take a piss test and tell ’em to piss off.
Yes I do have a performance enhancing advantage… it is called CrossFit.
