I feel so sad that nobody did any posting, for a while, does anybody check our web site, are you just lurking, come on post something, your favorite music for example, your latest wod, or just hello guys.

Just to make you happy, Luca, yesterday I rocked out a North Santa Cruz wod…10 clean & jerks, 50 situps, 8 clean & jerks, 40 situps…pretty good workout although it may be time for me to up the weight on the cleans. I realized one of my biggest issues was not building up the tension enough in my muscles prior to starting the lift, per the video yesterday on the home site.

And as for music, I usually rock out to the classics…Billy Joel, Elton John, maybe some Phil Collins if I’m really getting into it.

Did back squats 3 reps up to 265. then did “Randy” 75 lbs power snatch 75 reps for time.

My workout music – Rock from the 80s or 90s, or anything with a good beat that gets me pumped up and isn’t too profane (I work out with my kids around).

I wouldn’t know what kind of music was hip with the young people these days if I didn’t CrossFit.

One more reason to CrossFit eheheh, staying hip

    my thought on music…
if there is a song on that makes me want to scream and bash my head into the wall then ill put it on my ipod, but i also have some very mellow music that just acts as background noise while i work out. i can listen to pretty much anything, even the italian rap but if it comes down to doing FRAN metallica would be my number one choice.

It pretty much doesn’t matter what’s playing, after about 5 seconds into the wod I don’t hear anything. I’m mostly concerned with breathing, moving, counting reps. Sometimes I lose track of the reps. That probably accounts for the occasions when I finish within 3 or 4 minutes of the next to last person.

if i need a good speed workout or if im angry at the world i listen to boys with mohawks who scream abt anything and everything they possibly can or if im hating all men an on the verge of a cross over i listen to Ani Difranco. Anyone wanna borrow my ipod? hahahaha!
