I was watching The Biggest Loser last night. How exciting. Scores of people can now watch overweight contestants compete at dangerous, unrealistic tasks to win fame and possibly cash while focusing completely on a set of over-sized scales. I think it is a disgrace to all of us who are doing this to help people get into the best shape of their life, this people are doing it for the money.

Just take a look at the previous contestants who still battle weight issues. Consider how many hospital cases have occurred during filming. Contact one of the trainers and ask them if they were training sensibly or for the cameras.They just want to get the max out of this people regardless of their health.

Don’t you think for a second that this is reality. It is not safe. It should not be tried at home. It should not even be watched on the TV.I say boycott this show and come to the Shed and really start changing your life, in a safe and fun environment with trained professionals.

    i dont think boycott but i think that any sensible person who wants to not try to lose weight but just work out and have fun doing it should come to the shed. that was not the goal for many of our clients, to come to the shed and get killer bodies the soul task was to get fit or into a lot better shape. and the benifits are never ending, because even though you do not try losing the weight, the pounds melt away like butter, you feel better and when you finish a WOD successfully there is no better substitute for the accomplishment.

    Check out the CrossFit – One World videos from the Feb 24 and Feb 27 posts on the main site. “Ass Whooping: One World Part 1 and 2. Sevan vs Jolie”. These are freaking hillarious. I can’t wait until Part 3.

    Ok, what a section we had today we did 7 set of threes D.L. Mo did his last 3 at 410lb he’s an animal, Irina won her fear and hit a 160×3, she is getting more and more confident and a great job by Lorenzo with a last set of 3s at 265. They made me one hell of a proud trainer.

    Why are the double unders my fault? Nate was the one running the class and the one who brought in the workout. my workout did involve them too but i had already planned that the night before. Stav, you just need to work on the rotation because your feet go plenty far off the ground. darren, you are getting to be a beast, doing fran after slaughtering the competition (though i didn’t compete haha) and getting a pretty fair time. all you need to do now is get a documented muscle up and you’ll be a force to be reckoned with.

    I already have Two documented Muscle ups. One with Craig and one with Rick. And just because I haven’t done one in two weeks doesn’t mean anything. I am in the “Zone” and ready to strike.
