    Today was my first metcon in about 2 weeks. As most of you know, its been a tough winter for me with cold after cold.

    Tough – mentally mostly. I did the CF wod from yesterday:

    as many rounds in 20mins of:

    95lb clean & jerk
    run 400m

    I did 3 rounds and laid down to rest – just beat. So as not to embarrass myself and contribute more to my deconditioning, I got up and did 4 more rounds.

    In all it took me about 32 minutes to do 7 rounds.

    Congrats to Stav first of all. Great scheduling by our owners second of all, and Craig I like the effort put into today’s WOD. Even though you were not feeling it at all, especially when you haven’t done one in a long time.

    Did the WOD from the mainsite. It was brutal and my HSPU’s need some work. Tomorrow is a day off. The last 4 days have read, Michael(in 99* heat), Fran(4:28PR), FGB(at Level I cert), my 1st muscle up(got 2nd one today at The Shed), then the tough WOD today. I am spent, my shoulders are done. Thanks for all the support about the cert, I really appreciate it and look forward to seeing everyone at The Shed.

    Hell, half the reason I got up off the floor and did 4 more rounds was because the Shed was full of people and I was embarrassed.
