Wow, I was thinking about doing this wod!

And, so that jj’s time does not go to waste, he will be opening DCF on SimCity online.

  • Jeremy Jones

    Ha ha!

Or maybe DCF on ‘Second Life’

  • Mark L.

6 rounds of 400m is going to be easy after my regular 6 rounds of 1000m with hills. 😎
It will be fun to compare this WOD on our new course to the old.
One question: On picture #5, I’m seeing some big green boards that aren’t installed in our space, yet. Are those going to be our record boards? Twenty foot wall ball targets? Advertising space? Action pistol targets? (accuracy is one of the 10 physicals skills)

  • Andrew

Just for you Mark, you should do 6 rounds of 1200m =P I like the idea of action pistol targets! c’monnnn jeremy!

  • Craig

Mark: 4 green “boards” are reserved for the 4 branches of our Military.

  • russell

I’m betting they are Crossfit Games championship banners…

  • Jeremy Jones

Andrew, you will be interested to hear that we are arranging a “DCF Trip to the Range” on a Saturday or Sunday in the near future.

We will meet at the gym, then carpool over to the outdoor range off of Hwy 4.

It will be BYOG, but I am sure we will be able to share for those who don’t have any.

  • Mark L.

    I gots guns.

  • Shannon Stornetta

Bryan gets a new firearm for our anniversary every year- count him in on the fieldrtip to the range!!

  • Mark L.

and with that, I move we immediately elect Shannon Stornetta as “Advisor to the DCF Wives”!

  • Jenny Verschuur

The gym looks amazing!! Thanks for those photos I wish I could be there!

  • Adam

So whats the trick Bryan in finding a wife such as Shannon???

  • Andrew

A trip to the range sounds awesome, although I am a complete newb when it comes to guns. Keep us updated Jeremy!

    Oh yea,

    6 rounds of 400m run

    1:15, 1:19, 1:22, 1:26, 1:26, 1:25

  • Andrew

Hey guys, just an idea for anyone who’s interested. I know a lot of you use a little notebook or something to keep track of your progress. Since I’m always here are Diablo and CF Unlimited in Milpitas, I found something that could be stored online and all I would need is a computer with internet. So I use google documents to keep track of my times and reps. Just go to google.com and on the top there will be a “more” button. Click on more and go to documents. From there you either are already have an account of you have to make one. Once you’re signed in you can make your own spreadsheet. It is like a very simple version of excel. For reference here is mine:

    Great run times Andrew!

I’ll be MIA for the 0600 classes for a while. Child care issues but I’ll try to be there in the evenings once in a while.

Did the main page WOD with the Saki Bomb and the Solano Crew tonight.

    For time:
155 pound Power clean 15 reps
    30 Ring dips
155 pound Power clean 12 reps
    24 Ring dips
155 pound Power clean 9 reps
    18 Ring dips
155 pound Power clean 6 reps
    12 Ring dips
155 pound Power clean 3 reps
    6 Ring dips

7:55 as Rx’d. The ring dips were rough towards the end. Surprisingly the cleans weren’t bad at all. I felt pretty good most of the way through but the dips took a lot outta me. I definately should have gone heavier on the cleans though.

Stav-I’m still planning on Thursday evening either 1630 or closer to 1730. I’ll bring the 2 pood as well as the bar and 25’s for ya.
    Cheers all,

  • Ed

    The gym looks great!

  • Craig

    Awesome time Mike!

  • Stavros @ Diablo CrossFit

Strong work 5pm and 6pm crews! Mike, that is an elite time on that WOD. You bested me by almost 4 minutes. The ring dips wrecked me beyond belief. I double-dipped tonight…not counting the 1000m row at 0700 this morning (3:27)

CF Main WOD (Power Cleans/Ring Dips)

    11:58 as RX’d

    Then DCF WOD(400’s)

    Okay, I’m tired….

  • Prashant

    1:44, 2:00, 2:24, 2:35, 2:30, 2:21

Had to run the last one faster, there was no way I was going to do another one.

Only one complaint about DCF, no 3G coverage at the Shed. How am I supposed to watch youtube on my phone over there???

  • Jeremy Jones

Did CF Mainpage earlier in the day:

    (Great Time Mike!)

I could have gone faster on the cleans. I paced them too much.

    DCF WOD later.

    1:19, 1:19, 1:19, 1:23, 1:26, 1:19

I swore I was running faster each round.

  • Mountain

Day 99. Did 10 rounds of 10 pullups on the minute, every minute. Felt pretty good. Was able to do all ten sets unbroken. Felt like I could probably go 20 minutes before the sets start breaking down. It’ll be interesting to find out tomorrow.

  • Anne

This was a great way for me to get back into running!
    1:54, 1:56, 1:53, 1:56, 1:55, 1:56
