The Dry Caveman Challenge Starts Now!

Dry Caveman is Diablo CrossFit’s annual, voluntary “alcohol abstention competition” – an extension of popular ancestral diets. If they weren’t bakin’ bread, Cavemen sure as heck weren’t brewin’ the juice.

So, every year at the start of the year until Valentine’s day, many Diablo members pledge to not consume alcohol. It’s a great way to detox from the holidays, lose the stubborn pounds, and check-in with ourselves.

If anyone “breaks”, he/she must complete a “punishment” workout.

Mobility:  Hip Mobility.


Skill Practice Warm Up: Overhead Squats, Kipping Pull Ups, or Muscle Ups. Pick ONE to work on for 10 minutes.


Strength Workout: Power Snatch 6 x 3 (6 sets of 3 reps “across,” the same weight for all sets)

This is the 3rd session in our new Power Snatch strength cycle. Keep it light and keep working on perfecting your technique.

Super Set: Single Arm Ring Rows 6 x 6 (6 sets of 6 reps “across,” at the same angle for all sets)
