    Coach / CrossFit Games Athlete

Whitney’s passion for CrossFit started at age 16 at the very first CrossFit affiliate in Santa Cruz California where she trained with many of the OG’s! She has now been CrossFitting for more than 8 years and has been a trainer at Diablo Crossfit since February, 2011.

Whitney was born and raised in Santa Cruz California where she played multiple sports growing up. A 3 sport high school athlete playing softball, volleyball, and basketball, Whitney came to Moraga California on a Division I Softball scholarship where she played 2 years at Saint Marys College of California. She stopped playing softball to further her desire to make it to the CrossFit Games in 2012.

Shortly after she moved to Moraga, Whitney was referred to Diablo CrossFit. Since joining Diablo, Whitney has dramatically improved her fitness both physically and mentally. And, Whitney considers the Diablo community her “family,” and credits the community with helping motivate her to be able to be reach her long term goal of becoming a Games contender. She loves helping people achieve their fitness goals and shares a special kinship with the kids in the CrossFit kids program, since she was a CrossFit kid not long ago. She is excited to for her future in CrossFit and for her future contributions to the CrossFit community!
