Back Squat 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps

Post loads to comments.

Don’t have a bar, or a rack to take weight off? Try doing one legged squats (aka ‘pistols’). The non-supporting leg should be pointed straight forward and parallel to the ground through the entire squat. Weight can be added as needed (anything that has mass can be used). Be careful with form, and don’t let the knee of the supporting leg go past the toes.

Did weighted pistols instead of back squats (on a cruise ship gym full of machines).

I also did the 8 round rep scheme 3,2,2,2,1,1,1,1 for extra practice. Right leg then Left leg alternating each round.

Started with 20 lbs and got up to 50lbs on the last round.

Finished with some handstand push up practice and 100 burpees for time (with push up and jump).

    time – 8:52
