Coach / Gymnastic Specialist
Travis has a background in high level gymnastics. He started gymnastics when he was just 3 years old. He quickly accelerated to the top level, so to further his dream in the sport, he moved to Australia to continue his dream of making the Olympics. He became one of the youngest Junior National Team Member for Australia. At the age of 16 he moved back to the United State to try and make the 2004 Olympics. He moved to the Olympic Training Center (OTC) in Colorado. There he made the Senior Men’s National Team where he qualified to the 2004 Olympic Trials. During the competition he sustained a pretty severe injury on the Vault and had to say goodbye to his dream of making the 2004 Olympic Team.
Travis joined the Cirque Du Soleil Family, where he performed all over the country. After years of performing and shows, he left the Cirque world to join the medical field as a Paramedic. After 5 years as a medic he realized that his true love and passion in life was gymnastics and coaching. He has been coaching for the past 15+ years and has coached gymnasts from all over the country and world. He has had athletes on the Junior and Senior USA National Gymnastics Team. He has coached gymnasts from other countries like: Canada. Australia, Denmark, Mexico, and England. Travis is now excited to share his Gymnastic knowledge with the Diablo Community.
