DIABLO CLOSURE UPDATE: It’s official, we’re closed until May 4th. And, we’re going to be ok. Of course, we hope that the SIP does not extend further, but we are prepared. We have retained all of our employees and have applied for SBA assistance under the CARES act. We are going to make it through this and come out stronger on the other side. Fitness Is A Hedge Against Sickness – CrossFit Founder Greg Glassman has been preaching the importance of fitness as a hedge against sickness since the origins of CrossFit. I’m starting to hear conventional media start to talk about this – especially in light of our current crisis.
Thinking Fast and Slow – Daniel Kahneman. This is one of those books I wish I read years ago! Daniel Kahneman is a Nobel Prize winner in Economics. He breaks down how we think in very simple terms and discusses the battle between the easily distracted mind (1) and the highly focused mind (2). I am loving this one on Audible.
