Diablo Adventure Club July 4th Freedom Ride
Joaquin Miller Park, Oakland – The Lost Redwoods – Mountain Bike Ride
Meet: Wed, July 4th at 7:30AM at Diablo CrossFit Pleasant Hill
If you’re a mountain biker, you’re going to enjoy this ride! We’ll head out to Joaquin Miller Park in Oakland for a tour of the lost Redwoods. Our trek will begin at the Skyline Blvd Staging Gate Our plan is to be riding by 8, finished by 9:30 and back by 10ish. Skyline is at the top, so we’re guaranteed a climb back to our cars. We’ll ride a variety of trails, some wide and some single tracks. You’ll be climbing and descending – but nothing too crazy. There are a LOT of places to take shortcuts or double back in case you want to finish earlier.
Bring water, helmet & a mountain bike, of course.
