DIABLO MARRIAGE #12  One of the beautiful, amazing things to result from our CrossFit community is the introduction of so many wonderful couples to each other. This weekend, Yvonne and I are attending the wedding of Whitney Heuser and Jonathan Moore, who met at Diablo CrossFit 11 years ago. A little more than 2 years ago, Jon & Whitney were reunited, fell in love and on Monday, November 8th, will be married. They are the 12th married couple that met at Diablo. It’s hard to explain to most people that “CrossFit” is so much more than a fitness philosophy. It is a welcoming place where people come together for a simple, common purpose: to improve themselves. CrossFit is, for many, a church for the body & mind. And, when people meet in this church, it’s easy to understand how relationships flourish. Yvonne and I are tremendously proud of the friendships, loving relationships and marriages that have resulted. Congratulations to Coach Whitney and Jonathan.
